I recently created a Live page to promote my upcoming live coding streams and ways to find my previous ones. I have the times listed. However, times are hard.

2018 was a weird year. It felt like it just zoomed by and nothing eventful happened. In fact, I feel like most people I have talked to this year felt the same exact way. But, then I sat down to my end of year write up and realized that this year was way more packed than I thought.

On New Years Day I sat down over ReactJS and decided to see what all the commotion was about. I primarily work on the backend and have dabbled lightly with AngularJS. Generally, my JavaScript work just falls to basic DOM manipulation using vanilla JS or jQuery. Nothing fancy, no components. ReactJS is fun.

We all love JavaScript and what it can do, especially the various frameworks created to make the life of a developer easier. However, with scripting comes debugging, and debugging can take a lot of time.

Need to do a quick web site but strapped for time? Twitter has a whole bunch of open source projects they have released, and one of them is called Bootstrap. It comes preloaded with CSS styles and simple JavaScript plugins.
